Generation Hosting Capacity Maps
Kia О̄ra koutou and welcome to our new Large Scale Distributed Generation Hosting Capacity Map.
We're really pleased to share it with you so you can estimate what capacity might be available on our network. It's important to note that the map is an estimate only and we don't make any warranty about its accuracy or completeness.
Currently, it only covers the high voltage (HV) network, which means the data is intended for large-scale generators to assist with preliminary feasibility and site selection. This data is not suitable for residential customers seeking to install smaller-scale generation systems, such as rooftop solar, which would connect to the low voltage (LV) network, and is not included in this map.
