Network Waitaki returns $1.15 million to our community

Network Waitaki, owned 100% by the Waitaki Power Trust, is proud to allocate discounts to consumers on our network.

If you are a connected consumer, look out for the discount from Network Waitaki on your December or January power bill that you will receive from your energy retailer.

Our Calculator is now live, simply enter your ICP Number to calculate how much you will receive. (This number can be found on your latest power bill).

In order to qualify for a discount, you must meet the following criteria:

  • You must be legitimately connected, as a customer of an approved retailer, to the Network Waitaki network at 5.00pm on the last working day of November 2023.
  • If you have been connected for less than a full year to the Network Waitaki network the discount will be adjusted in proportion to the length of time you have been connected to the network.
  • The discount will be applied to the active point of connection you are connected to on the last working day of November 2023.
